- Yaysoft.com, Arthur Lusby, and anyone affiliated with Yaysoft or
Arthur Lusby cannot be held responsible for any harm and/or problems - physical,
emotional, or otherwise - that you may experience directly or indirectly from
using this site and its features. This means that if your girl/boyfriend
leaves you or your beloved pet hamster decides to make a suicide leap out of
a 13th story window it's not our problem.
- Creating and having a Yaysoft account is completely and totally 100%
free. You will never be required to pay in exchange for the
services provided by your Yaysoft.com user account so long as I (Arthur Lusby)
am running the site.
- Your email address will not be displayed, given out, or sold to
anyone without your express consent. Ever. If you want your email to
be visible to others in your profile then when you create your account check
the "View Email in Profile?" box, which is by default unchecked.
- The email address you provide must be valid, as it will be used in
the confirmation and activation process of your user account.
- Once your account is created your password is encrypted and stored in a
database. Yaysoft.com is unable to retrieve your password if you forget
it; however, we can reset your password to a random string that you can then
go back and change if you can prove to us that the account is indeed yours
(most likely through email address verification).
- The information in your user profile marked as "Optional" is just that -
optional. Don't fill it in if you don't want to, and be aware that anything
you put in those fields will be visible to those that view your profile.
- While Yaysoft.com encourages freedom of speech and expression, this site
is privately owned and run, and as such anything you say or do publicly on this
site (in the forums, etc.) is subject to moderation, deletion, etc. by the
site maintainers. Deal with it.
- You may not discuss illegal software ("warez") in the public forums,
and doing so is grounds for immediate termination of your Yaysoft
account. I'm not a fan of going to jail.
- Your Yaysoft account may be suspended or terminated by any member of
the Yaysoft.com staff for any reason they deem fit. Likewise, the
suspension of specific features of your Yaysoft account - such as not being
allowed to post on the forum, yet still allowed to use personal messages -
is left at the sole discretion of the Yaysoft.com staff. So be sure and
play nice people, then we all can have fun.
- These Terms of Service are subject to change at any time without prior
notice. It is your responsibility to check this file periodically and make
sure you are up to date with our current terms.
