Privacy Policy

- Much of what is said here is also stated in our Terms of Service,
which is also suggested reading for those of you who worry about this type of stuff.
- Your email address will not be displayed, given out, or sold to
anyone without your express consent. Ever. If you want your email to
be visible to others in your profile then when you create your account check
the "View Email in Profile?" box, which is by default unchecked.
- The information in your user profile marked as "Optional" is just that -
optional. Don't fill it in if you don't want to, and be aware that anything
you put in those fields will be visible to those that view your profile.
- You are not required to register for a free Yaysoft User Account in order
to participate in the majority of the community features found on the site. Our
comments system and certain designated areas of the forum are open to anonymous
posters. However, if you choose you post anonymously, your IP address will
be posted publicly along with your message. We do this to dissuade site "trollers"
as well as help the site moderators and admins keep things running smoothly so
Yaysoft remains a happy place to visit for everybody.
- This Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time without prior
notice. It is your responsibility to check this file periodically and make
sure you are up to date with our current policy.
